Hey, just call me "Uncle Han-guel."
I'm a creator and designer who gets a genuine thrill from conceiving, planning, and bringing things to life. My career has been a journey of making things move and take shape: I started with 3D character design, moved into animation and visual effects (VFX), expanded into product design and publishing, and these days, I'm building app services. To me, creating is a thrilling adventure.
But alongside my passion for design, I've always had a deep fascination with languages.
A while back, I tried teaching Korean online via AmazingTalker. It was a short-lived experiment, but it left me with a profound sense of frustration. I quickly realized the limits of traditional language teaching. I didn't want my students to just memorize grammar rules; I wanted them to naturally absorb the language. I wanted real acquisition, not just learning.
Driven by this question, I decided to dive deeper. I went back to school and earned my official certification as a Korean Language Teacher.
That journey brings me here. This space isn't a boring digital classroom with blackboards and vocabulary lists. It's a creative playground where a designer uses visual contexts, everyday contrasts, and cultural nuances to help you just "pick up" Korean naturally—the same way you'd appreciate a good piece of design.
